What Kind of Boiler Do I Need?
There are three main types of boiler:

- System

However, a system boiler with a separate hot water cylinder is better for houses with greater water demand, as you don’t see the significant reduction in hot water flow rates when using multiple hot water sources like you do with a combi boiler.
It might be that you currently have a combi boiler that is struggling to meet your needs. Or you may have a system boiler, but a combi would do and would also create more space by allowing you to take out the hot water cylinder.

Will There be a Boiler Ban?
You might have heard of the gas boiler ban and wonder whether you should buy a boiler at all. Do not worry about it. This only applies to newbuild houses from 2025, so there is absolutely no problem in exchanging a gas boiler for another gas boiler in an existing home.
