Loft insulation is installed in an unused loft space, usually between and over the ceiling joists, to reduce heat loss through the roof. Room-in-roof insulation is used when the loft has been converted into a usable room, with insulation fitted around the sloping roof, dwarf walls and ceilings to keep the room warmer.
Internal wall insulation is fitted to the inside of external walls, often in solid wall properties or homes where external wall insulation is not suitable. The right option depends on your property, where heat is being lost and how the space is used, which is why a survey is completed before installation.
