Why Trust Clever Energy Boilers?

The Grant Aerona³ Heat Pump Range

Grant is one of the UK’s most established renewable heating manufacturers, producing the Aerona³ range of R32 air source heat pumps specifically designed and optimised for UK climate conditions. We install the full Grant Aerona³ range, helping you find the right output for your property, insulation levels and heating demand.

Grant Aerona³ 6kW

The entry-level Aerona³ 6kW is suited to smaller, well-insulated properties with lower heat loss. Its compact footprint makes it practical for properties with limited outdoor space, and it uses low-GWP R32 refrigerant for improved environmental performance.

Grant Aerona³ 10kW

The Aerona³ 10kW is the most commonly installed Grant model across UK domestic properties. It suits mid-sized homes with moderate heat loss and is available as a monobloc unit, keeping installation straightforward with all refrigerant components contained within the outdoor unit.

Grant Aerona³ 13kW

The Aerona³ 13kW suits larger homes or properties with higher heat loss — including older construction, solid stone walls or limited insulation. It delivers strong performance at low flow temperatures and operates efficiently in the colder ambient temperatures common across much of the UK.

Grant Aerona³ 17kW

The Aerona³ 17kW is Grant’s highest-output domestic model, suited to large detached properties, homes with significant heat loss or properties requiring high hot water demand alongside space heating. It is available in both monobloc and split configurations depending on installation requirements.

Grant’s Aerona³ range is designed from the ground up for UK conditions — built to operate efficiently in the colder ambient temperatures and varied property types found across England, Scotland and Wales. Every installation begins with a full heat-loss survey and detailed system design. Like any heating system, a Grant Aerona³ heat pump benefits from regular servicing. Annual maintenance helps keep your system running at peak efficiency, supports manufacturer warranty requirements and allows minor issues to be identified before they develop into larger problems.

Grant recommends annual servicing by a qualified engineer to maintain full warranty cover on the Aerona³ range. We offer ongoing cover through our Clever Care servicing plans, ensuring your Grant heat pump continues to perform as it should long after installation.

Is A Grant Aerona³ Suitable
For My Property?

The Grant Aerona³ range is designed to be suitable for a wide variety of UK property types — from modern well-insulated homes through to older solid-wall construction — provided the system is correctly sized and designed for the building’s actual heat loss.

Grant’s monobloc design keeps all refrigerant components within the outdoor unit, simplifying installation and reducing the amount of work required inside the property. This makes the Aerona³ a practical choice for retrofits where internal space or access is limited.

We carry out a full heat-loss assessment for every property before making any recommendation — evaluating insulation levels, existing radiator sizing, hot water cylinder space, outdoor unit location and daily hot water demand to establish which Aerona³ output is right for your home.

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme And Grant Heat Pumps

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) provides a grant of £7,500 towards the cost of an eligible air source heat pump installation in England and Wales.
